On my recent trip to Hawaii I was lucky enough to meet with one of my favourite modern artists: The gorgeous Margaret Rice!
Margaret is a Hawaiian artist and surfer that has a unique painting and illustration style. Using beautiful feminine hues, all of her works celebrate the Hawaiian "Wahine" or women. Inspired by her island home, Margaret gives a fresh modern take on the classic Aloha vibes that we've come to expect from traditional Hawaiian artists.
I'm so pleased to have been able to meet with Margaret and bring home a limited collection of her prints, all of which have been numbered and signed by the artist. I am also thrilled to announce that Pineapple Traders are the first (and only) stockist of Margaret Rice Studio in Australia!
