ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

My love of knot tying is no secret and so my blacksmith Saul of Colo Forge worked the humble reef knot into the next series of product in our co-designed Special Edition Smith-made range.

Much like its namesake, the Reef Knot Drawer Pull is a great foundational yet decorative piece to start with when designing a hardware story for any space.

Part of the Special Edition Smith-made range co-designed by Sibella Court and Colo Forge.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Our products are hand forged using honest & humble materials. Their imperfections, patinas and variations are intrinsic to the underlying importance of craftsmanship within India.

If the product is made from brass, it will patina & age over time. This ever-changing characteristic makes the object even more beautiful.

If the product is blackened steel, Linseed oil or Penetrol can be used to keep it rich & dark in colour. This will also prevent & remove any rust which may build up over time in coastal or wet environments. Dot a rag with Penetrol & massage into the steel for 3-5 minutes & leave to dry. We recommend a few coats over the life of the product.

If the product is crafted with raw leather, it is designed to age & darken over time. We love when the story of the user & their environment is imprinted on our products. Oxalic acid can be used to wipe down raw leather to remove any dark stains or spills. A little goes a long way!
